Will INVIRTU kill SARS-CoV-2 which causes Covid-19?

INVIRTU kills 99.99% of bacteria and viruses, including all enveloped viruses.

It is against advertising rules for any product like ours (including alcohol-based hand sanitisers) to claim they kill a specific virus or bacterium. As a responsible company we fully respect those rules.

What we can say is that we are 100% confident that INVIRTU is as effective as any other hand sanitiser on the market and we have the scientific evidence to back that up. You can read more on Why INVIRTU? or if you still have queries please contact us.

How safe is it?

Alcohol-based hand sanitisers are flammable, poisonous if swallowed, dangerous to the eyes and can cause painful skin irritation.

INVIRTU is non-flammable, poses no risk of alcohol poisoning, has less risk of eye irritation and is non-corrosive. You can read more on Why INVIRTU? or if you still have queries please contact us (details below).

Is it better than alcohol-based hand sanitisers?

INVIRTU meets the same effectiveness standards as alcohol-based hand sanitisers and comes with many more benefits. It is non-flammable, won’t cause alcohol poisoning, poses less risk of eye irritation, aligns with religious beliefs, has less risk of antibacterial resistance and is compatible with a range of gloves.

Why does the government recommend alcohol-based hand sanitise?

It doesn’t! As far as we can tell, there is no UK government advice that says people must use alcohol-based products. We believe the government focusses on these products just to keep things simple in among many other pandemic messages.
